Latest Update: The Mahindra Thar.e has been showcased in South Africa in a 5-door avatar. Patent images of the Mahindra Thar E have surfaced on the internet. Mahindra could launch the Thar.e in India by 2026. Prices for the electric Thar could start from Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
The Thar.e is expected to come with a 75kWh battery pack, mated to an which could deliver a range of over 400km. A dual-electric motor setup will be used, while 4WD (4-wheel drive) will be available as standard. The electric SUV could come with a big touchscreen system and a digital driver's display.
