Price: The Mahindra Scorpio Classic is priced between Rs 13.62 lakh and Rs 17.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: It is available in two broad variants: S and S11.

Colour Options: Mahindra offers five colour options for the Scorpio Classic: Galaxy Grey, Red Rage, Everest White, Diamond White and Stealth Black.

Seating Capacity: It is available in 7- and 9-seater layout.

Engine and Transmission: The Scorpio Classic is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, derived from the Scorpio N's less powerful diesel version, that makes 132 PS and 300 Nm, and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Features: Key features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, and auto air-conditioning.

Safety: Safety features include dual front airbags, and rear parking sensors.

With its updated chassis and suspension and new mHawk diesel improve the road holding ability and driveability and it is still an appealing traditional SUV option. But an automatic transmission and 4x4 option will be missed and the dated interior experience is also a negative."
