Nissan Compact SUV

Latest Update: Nissan will be bringing a new SUV to India, which will be a shared product under its partnership with Renault.

Price: The Nissan compact SUV could have a price range starting from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Launch: It is expected to hit the Indian market in January 2025.

Seating Capacity: The compact SUV will have the capacity to seat five passengers.

Engine and Transmission: Nissan could offer its new compact SUV with the same powertrain options as its upcoming Renault counterpart. It could come with a petrol engine in both non- and strong-hybrid powertrains.

Features: Its list of features will likely comprise a touchscreen display, climate control, steering-mounted controls and wireless phone charging.

Safety: On the safety front, it should get multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Rivals: The Nissan compact SUV will go up against the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and the new Renault Duster.
