Latest Update: The launch date of the 2024 Kia Carnival MPV has been announced.
Launch: This Kia MPV will be launched on October 3.
Price: It is expected to cost around Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Seating Capacity: Kia is expected to offer the new Carnival in 4-, 7-, and 9-seater configurations.
Engine and Transmission: We expect it to be offered with a single engine option, mated to an automatic transmission. Globally, it gets a 3.5-litre V6 petrol (287 PS/353 Nm) and a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid (242 PS/367 Nm).
Features: It is expected to get two 12.3-inch displays, multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and an air purifier. Other features to expect include a heads-up display, ventilated and powered seats, a three-zone auto AC, and ambient lighting.
Safety: Its list of safety features includes eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors. The international model also includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features.
Rivals: While the Carnival has no direct competitors in India, it will continue to sit above the Toyota Innova Hycross but below the Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM.
